I have passed the name list for the people who are coming for the trip to our lecturer and will contact me asap regarding about the trip details

2) There is NO payment for the Trip but outsiders will probably have to pay themselves !!

3) Those in the list still contemplating regarding their attendance (The names highlighted in RED below especially) Confirm your attendance as soon as possible to me (Prasad) as i have to confirm the name list upon getting the full details for the trip!!

4) Any other queries regarding the trip contact me or post at the tag-board on my blog or here itself, i'll revert back as soon as Mr.Saul contacts me regarding the details probably this week.

School of Media and Communications SHOUTOUT! IV

Hello All,

It's been some time since you heard from us and you are probably wondering what the team has been up to!

Well the School has been busy with a whole host of activities that have been planned till the end of the year and beyond. The student powered Media and Communications Club is planning many events this year and next to make sure that media students experience in MDIS is an enriching one. You probably have seen the Radio unit doing their recruitment exercises for their team in the canteen. If you want to be part of the TV, Radio, Publishing or the Events unit within MCC. please drop an email to Ms Amanda at amanda_tayml@mdis.esdu.sg.

As part of its ethos of helping students in their career advancement plans, the faculty conducted a half day workshop on the media industry for Students from Mendaki. The workshop entailed Television and Radio production as well as creative thinking. The students thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience they recieved and are now considering the media industry as a career option.

We are also encouraging students (through BlackBoard announcements) to attend industry based events that would be happening in and around Singapore. These events are important for networking and getting to know the industry better.

The School is also looking aggressively for internship opportunities for our students. Students whom are keen to pursue such opportunities should drop an email to Ms Su Yan at suyan_hong@mdis.edu.sg

Whilst the School does try its best to discover and nurture talent, I do hope you will step forward if you believe that you have what it takes to SHINE! We will make sure you do!

Please drop me an email if you have any feeback or need us to look into any matter concerning your academic sojourn in MDIS.

BE INSPIRED, THINK CREATIVE, THINK MDIS

To you, Shak Kimchi. For that loss.
Angel.

Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it ok
There's always some reason to feel “not good enough?
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction, oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an Angel, fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees

In the arms of an Angel, far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
In the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here

-Sarah Mclachlan

For some of us, that have never known how it is like to lose a parent.
For those that have ever or just experienced that loss, our hearts and prayers go out to you.

To Shak, he's in the arms of an angel, our condolences to you and your family. XOXO.

TO LOSE WEIGHT OR LOSE FOR A KISS ??

As u all can see the letter on ur right..
Regarding a bet between JELLY and CHLOE
to not have any form of fattening food till the 16th
of november..not really a good idea during the
exam period especially when chloe's having a birthday bash at a hotel on the 14th of November( NO booze babe). The rules are simple but hard to follow, anyway incase ur wondering how this ends..simple
if CHLOE loses she has to lick SANJAY"Z unibrow and french kiss him
WHEREAS
if JELLY loses? lol
she has to do a lap dance , french kiss and also
seduce.....ANDREAS!!!

HMC's presentation is finally over~!

TIME TO PAAAARTAYYYYY!
Well, not quite yet. We still have few more to go before we're really done. But still, its one project less.

Three cheers to those who managed to complete their slides at 6am in the morning, on the day of the presentation!

Almost everyone was present on the first day of presentation, be it presenter or not. But the second day? The first group literally had to only present to Ms. Hawabi and a few others only.

Anyway, its over.

OHYES! By the way,
Happy belated birthday, Adam!

We actually wanted to try out this idea of forming a study group and stay back after school to do revisions together and clarify any doubts we have about our lectures.

I'm not sure if this idea is feasible or not, but I reckon we can try it out.

What do you guys think? Leave a message at the tagboard on the right hand corner.

Hey people!
Hi guys! Its Jelly here!

As you can see, this blog here is barely half done, we have not change the background yet.

And why? Blogger had actually made changes to newly created account, and the usual HTML won't work here.

But don't worry! Prashanth and I are trying to figure it out ASAP ( although he's the one who is really trying to figure it out. I sucks at HTMLs).

He's our moderator by the way!

So, cheerios people!
AND ROCK ON!

P.S. Oh by the way! It's Rosa's birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!
